Wood Dog

What kind of sticks or to hold a falling tree (dog wood 15 year old)?

The storm/wind from last year knocked my tree down and a hired someone put it up. The sticks broke in half. 2 days later (today) the tree fail again. The guys supposed to put new sticks but turned out his man just put the old sticks back to the ground. Please help!

If the tree is over 10 feet high the sticks will not hold the tree. You need to instruct the workmen to use three 24" long steel stakes ( Re-Bar). Drive the stakes into the ground 8 feet from the tree at equal angles. Then use three 1/2" ropes to steady the tree to the steel stakes.
I don't think, however, that your tree is gonna survive. Dogwoods have a shallow root depth that is probably desturbed and broken. Good Luck.
