My Australian Sheppard doesn't want to go in his crate at night anymore just be on our bed?
He is 2, is this normal for an Aussie to all of a sudden not want to be in crate but on our bed?
There seems to be a problem communicating your wishes, (orders), to your dog. There is no such thing as "want" when you give a command.
At the age of 2 he should have had that nonsense worked out of him by proper obedience training.
If need be, put him on his prong and guide him all the way in the crate...make sure he gets in and close the door.
If proper pack order has not been established, he may show you a side that you do not want to see, ie, aggression and such and that HAS to be worked out of his system by any means necessary before you can complete your objective!
