Town plans dog license crackdown
BENNINGTON -- The town is offering a brief amnesty period before it begins to step up enforcement of unlicensed dogs. Ordinance on the books Town officials believe there are about 185 unlicensed dogs in the Bennington, based on the number of dog licenses issued in 2008 that were not renewed in 2009.

How do you tag a squirrel?

I was doing a project where I caught squirrels in a livetrap and marked them using nail polish and seeing how often I would catch the same ones. Now my project is over but I still want to know which squirrel is which from my front window. Is there a way to collar or tag a squirrel? If so How do I go about doing it?

Me cruel for dabbing their nails or him cruel for spray painting? Of course spray painting could kill them, I'm not out to hurt them in the process! I have interviewd local wildlife authorities as well as checked with the vet clinic down the road, They all said as long as they don't ingest it while its wet, (nail polish) It is completely harmless. I stay with them till it's dry and care very much about their health.

most people don't know how to catch a squirrel. i do though. i use to catch them with my bare hands when i was a kid. if your wanting to know about how to trap or catch them i can help. you do not to spray them with paint, i would advise to put a collar on them. and each collar be a different color and you can paint the collar so you can tell the difference. don't know how your going to put them on without the squirrel going beserk. get a gun if you see a rabid one.

Who's fault is it when this happens?
