Heated dog bed, a good idea?

Hi, My Pit Bull Millie gets chilly easily. This is her first winter with me. I rescued her 8 months ago, and I have already purchased her a dog fleece coat, a winter jacket, and a dog sweater for the cold weather. However, I have a nice bagel bed for her, and sometims I see her shivering at night, so now I put a nice fuzzy blanket over her, and she really loves it. So now every night before we go to sleep she goes in her bed and I put the blanket over her. I was thinking she may like a heated dog bed. I dont know anything about heated dog beds. So I have some questions-

Do you recommened a heated dog bed?
Does your dog like its heated dog bed?
What is the best heated dog bed you can get?
Do you have any other suggestions on keeping your dog warm in the cold winter weather?

My dog lives inside my house with me (just so no one asks me that question) She gets 2 hours of excersize a day, and various outings throughout the day to go to the bathroom.

I know someone who has a heated dog bed and it's excellent, sorry I don't know the brand. It stays plugged in all the time but has a transformer so the bed only gets 12 volts and it doesn't heat up until there's weight on it so it's not warm all the time. It has a removable washable cover, and then under that is a quite well sealed plastic cover so there's very little danger in case of spills or accidents. Don't remember the price but I was surprised how cheap it was. If your dog gets cold easily, she'll love one.
