this is a story a boy traveling with his aunt and losing their dog. can you correct what is wrong, in pass caompose. Thanks

Ca fait longtemps qu’on ne s’est pas vues.
2. Ensuite, ils se sont arête mettre de l’air dans les pneus
Alors, il a nettoyé le pare-brise
3. Son mère acheté une bouteille d'eau
Elle était très soif
4. Et Puis, i s’est trompé.
Il a perdu son chien.
5. Elle a arête la voiture
Elle a téléphoné la pompiste
6. Ils se sont revenus
Finalement, elle a trouvé le chien

2. Next. they stopped (for? did you leave out a word? and.. arrêter is written with double r) for putting air in the tires. And then he cleaned the shield wiper.
3. His/her (? that should have been "sa", not "son") mother has bought a bottle of water. She was thirsty (another mistake, that should have been "avait" (=had) not "était" (= was).
4 And next (or then), he made a mistake. He lost his dog.
5. She has stopped the car (pulled over). She has called (the guy at) the gas station.
6. They have gone back. Finally, she has found the dog.

Question: where did the mother suddenly come from in sentence 3? thought he travelled with his aunt... lol
