Where is the safest place in back seat for rear-facing infant car seat?
I just had my rear-facing infant car seat installed last week by a state trooper with 3 kids who told us that the safest place to place his car seat was in the center back seat. Is this true? My girl friend has a 3 week old and she has his car seat rear-facing behind passengers seat. Where should the car seat be?
In my boyfriend's car, we have the carseat installed behind the passenger seat because that's how his car is equipped. In my car, we have it installed in the rear center.
