Is it ok to wear a t shirt with a skirt?

i have many t shirts and some skirts with designs on them?is it ok to wear a casual graphic tee with that type of skirt?My sister hates it, but then again she hates anything I wear.and if its ok, what type of accessories should I wear?

i've seen people wear a t shirt with denim skirts and they look good. basically any casual skirt will look good with a solid color T.
