looking for an e-collar for my dog?

Which will be the best e-collar for training my gsd? Iv looked at dogtra and tri tronics. And really unsure which as i cant get tri tronic in the uk or can i? It seems to be USA only. Is there another version anyone can recommend for my dog he is 11 months? I don't want the static or the noise one. I have looked into these collars and think combining this training method With his normal training would be a great benefit for me and my dog. We are currently under an obedience trainer too.

Are you training for anything specific, such as gun-dog training, or just training in general?

It really depends on your dog and what you want to get out of using the collar. There are many many collars on the market now, and you
need to find the best one for you.

If your trainer has worked with e-collars before, I HIGHLY reccommend you seek their advice and help with this. Working with an e-collar can either make or break a dog, and you must make sure you have a thorough understanding of how the collar works and how your dog works as well. You must be able to read your dog very well and you also must stick to a very specific method with the collar. When used correctly it can help greatly, but if used incorrectly (even with good intentions!) it can completely ruin a dog.
