do you have experience with Petsafe deluxe little dog bark collar?
I bough this collar from Petco about a week ago and it worked maybe three times..
I've been contacting Petsafe for help, but they are not helping much at all.
First the collar was terrible, so I cut it off and attached fabric one, which fits my dog so much better and is the right fit for the position of the collar for proper contact. However, it still doesn't shock when she barks.
The battery is fine. I've read plenty of reviews, but most of the negative ones are about the plastic collar that doesn't fit, therefore the collar itself won't work, but I've addressed that issue and am still having problems.
Do you have any experience with it?
In my experience any type of bark collar is a waste of money as they don't work.
I don't really agree with the shock ones but they tend to work buy emitting a warning sound first that the dog will here but you won't and then it will shock if the barking continues.
You have to make sure the contact area is shaved so it hasd a good contact.
I agree a bottle of water or a tin can full of stones works much better than any collar.
When we dress our pooches it normally starts by buying them a nice collar, and personalized dog collars are now considered to be the most popular purchase. It's often the first piece of clothing you buy your little dog, but are they necessary. Have manufactures gone OTT, do our little pooches need to look like Gangster Rappers?
Many Dog owners simply want to buy these gifts for their little dog in the same way we buy our loved ones gifts, after all "dogs are mans best friend", or in the mad world of Political Correctness, should that be "a persons best friend". It would be interesting to know why other dog owners buy these type of personalized collars and Doggie Bling, is it purely a fashion statement for the owners benefit. Are we just keeping up with the Joneses?
How long will it be before the animal rights activists dispute this act of dressing a pooch in designer clothes and claim that it is cruel to dress your dog for the sake of fashion, perhaps they already do. Is your dog your best friend or just a fashion accessory, is he a Hollywood Dog or truly a family pet. Why should we care what anyone else thinks, he's your dog he's happy well looked after and he looks great in his pink diamante dog collar. Whatever your reason for dressing your dog in clothes one item that is an essential product is the collar, so why not make it personal and get one that makes him stand out from the rest.
